SUSTAINABILITY APPROACH, PRINCIPLES, AND POLICIES

Sustainability Strategy

Within Türk Eximbank, sustainability is positioned as a fundamental component of business strategies and a responsible banking approach, with environmental and social impacts considered an integral part of the value creation process. In line with this strategic approach, the Bank aims to create inclusive and lasting value by observing its environmental and social responsibilities while contributing to Türkiye’s export-oriented development goals.

The Bank has identified financial performance, combating climate change, supporting the green transition, and promoting high-tech investments as material topics. National and international regulations such as the CBAM and the Emissions Trading System (ETS) are closely monitored, and corporate policies are shaped in light of these developments. In this context, contributions are made to the green transition processes of exporters, and sustainable development and employment are supported by facilitating access to finance for SMEs and women entrepreneurs.

As of 2025, efforts are being carried out within the framework of “TSRS-Compliant Activities” to monitor and report on sustainability and climate targets in accordance with international standards.
