Throughout 2025, efforts in digital banking focused on designing the system architecture and preparing the automation infrastructure for the end-to-end digitalization of credit, insurance, and foreign trade finance processes.
Türk Eximbank positions digital banking as a strategic transformation area that facilitates exporters’ access to finance, accelerates transaction processes, and increases operational efficiency. In line with the Bank’s mission as the official export credit agency, a long-term transformation perspective aimed at improving the exporters’ experience has been adopted.
Throughout 2025, efforts in digital banking focused on designing the system architecture and preparing the automation infrastructure for the end-to-end digitalization of credit, insurance, and foreign trade finance processes. In this context, a system architecture was designed to enable exporters to access the Bank’s products and services via digital channels, and automation infrastructure was developed to reduce manual steps in the application, approval, and monitoring processes. By strengthening the digital banking infrastructure, the aim is to shorten transaction times, reduce operational burdens, and ensure standardization in service delivery in the future.
2025 Operational Developments and Projects
For Türk Eximbank, 2025 is considered a performance year in which a comprehensive digital transformation was initiated and infrastructure preparations were intensified. Throughout the year, developments for digital approval mechanisms in credit and insurance processes were completed, and full integration with support systems was achieved.
In the area of foreign trade transactions, the integration of the Foreign Trade Module into the Bank’s systems was successfully carried out. Additionally, as part of digitalization efforts, integration capabilities with decision support mechanisms and external data sets were enhanced, creating a solid foundation for the functions to be launched in 2026.
Digital Improvements in Insurance Processes
Digital improvements made in insurance processes for insured exporters under digital banking have directly contributed to the faster and more standardized execution of transactions. Efficiency has been increased by moving the buyer limit application, shipment notification, overdue receivable notification, and indemnity application processes to digital channels. This transformation, which facilitated exporters’ access to insurance transactions, encouraged the use of insurance products and had a positive impact on the sustainable increase in insured shipment volumes.
The prominent indicators in digital banking in 2025 relate to the maturity level of digital transformation preparations. In this context, establishing the digital banking infrastructure, completing the analysis and design for process digitalization, and creating automation frameworks to reduce manual steps are among the significant achievements.

Digital transformation, investments preparing for the future
For Türk Eximbank, 2025 is considered a performance year in which a comprehensive digital transformation was initiated and infrastructure preparations were intensified.
Furthermore, with the development of digital approval mechanisms, notification infrastructures, and integration capabilities, the necessary corporate infrastructure preparations for the services the Bank will offer through digital channels in 2026 have been largely completed.
Future Projection: 2026 and Beyond Targets
It is planned to functionally expand the digital banking services, which are currently offered with a limited set of transactions, starting in 2026. As part of future strategies, the goal is to move foreign trade transactions completely to digital channels.
Additionally, it is planned to implement digital approval processes for insurance policies, transition to full automation in shipment notifications, and launch target audience-based instant notification systems.
With these efforts, Türk Eximbank will continue to contribute to its sustainable growth targets by offering exporters an uninterrupted, fast, and user-friendly digital banking experience.
