Strong transaction volume in guarantees and letters of credit

In 2025, Türk Eximbank achieved a total transaction volume of USD 124 million through its international letters of guarantee and import letters of credit.

The year 2025 was a period in which Türk Eximbank strengthened its institutional capacity in trade finance and elevated its activities in this area to a strategic level. To enable exporters’ financing needs for foreign trade transactions to be met from a single point, alongside existing credit and insurance programs for exporters, the Foreign Trade Module was launched and its integration with the Bank’s systems was successfully completed.

Through pilot transactions, customer visits, and international collaborations throughout the year, the Bank enhanced its capability to facilitate foreign trade transactions and made significant progress in correspondent banking relationships. The performance in 2025 was evaluated not only on the increase in operational volume but also on the establishment of infrastructure, risk management, and the acquisition of institutional capabilities. These efforts have laid a solid foundation to support sustainable growth in 2026 and the following years.
