We are providing financial support to our exporters, who will built/export ships during the construction period, we support their competitive capacity and increase their creditability on behalf of their foreign customers and credit institutions.

Credit: The credits, which will be provided in the scope of this program, can be used for:

  • to finance the expenditures of the exporters during the construction period of the ships, which will be build/exported in the course of the contract signed with the purchasing company, on project basis.

Letter of guarantee: The letters of guarantee, which will be provided in the scope of this program, can be used for:

  • the payment in the quality of advance payments, which will remitted by the bank or finance institute of the purchaser to finance the ship during the construction period and the interest, which can occur in regard to this payments,
  • the payment obligations referring to the time limited export and time limited inland supply transaction for the machines and equipment, which will be used on the ship, which is subject to the project,

these will be taken into the warranty scope in the course of the determined limit.

What is the company limit?

The credit/guarantee letter amount and the term will be determined by our bank under consideration of the contract conditions signed by the purchaser and vendor on project basis. We can provide a credit or guarantee letter limit up to 85% of the ship contract value, signed with the purchasing company. The maximum credit or guarantee letter limit on company basis can amount up to USD 25 Million. Furthermore we can provide the usage of the credit and the guarantee letter within these limits for the same project.

What is the threshold?

There is no threshold in the course of the ship building and export financing program.
